Join the annual Bike the Lake event and cycle around the Lake Leman. This year, the event will support vulnerable people in Ukraine.

Through three generations of the Ukrainian family of Tatiiana, Lidiia, Yunna and her 4-years old son Hermann, currently staying in the area, Bike the Lake can get money and goods directly through to local communities suffering in East Ukraine.

Tatiiana, Lidiia, Yunna will cater for Bike the Lake on the day, and tell us about how our support will help their communities. Their husbands are going back and forward to Ukraine to help those who couldn’t leave the horrors of war.

As usual a minimum donation of CHF100 to our cause is the 'registration fee', with all other costs of the day being borne by Possenia and our volunteers - thank you for your support!

What to expect on the day

7h00: Meet & Greet. Enjoy coffee and breakfast. You'll also be able to pick up your Bike the Lake official kit if you haven't already got it.

07h30: Start!

07h30-20h00: Cycle around the lake. Depending on the level of the cyclists, usually, a number of different smaller groups of varying speeds tend to go around and during the ride, ensuring that everyone has a group pace they are comfortable with.

14h00-20h00: Return to the parking lot of the Centre Colovray. However long you take to cycle around the lake, you'll be welcomed at the end with snacks, Ukrainian dishes and drinks (beer of course!).
